As Jack's team excavated the tomb, they found the mummy's sarcophagus, adorned with strange symbols and warnings. But Jack was skeptical, believing the curse to be mere superstition.

As they removed the lid, a puff of dust emerged, and Jack felt a strange sensation, as if the mummy's eyes were upon him. Suddenly, the lights flickered, and the team heard a low, ominous chuckle.

Akhentaten's mummy began to stir, its wrappings unraveling as it rose from the sarcophagus. Jack tried to flee, but his feet felt heavy, as if rooted to the spot.

The mummy approached him, its eyes glowing with malevolence. Jack tried to scream, but his voice was silenced by some unseen force.

As the mummy reached out to claim him, Jack realized that the curse was real. He was consumed by a dark, eternal darkness, forever trapped in the tomb with the vengeful spirit of Akhentaten.

The next morning, the police found Jack's team dead, their bodies wrapped in linen bandages, with strange symbols carved into their flesh. The mummy was never found, but the legend of Akhentaten's curse lived on, a cautionary tale about the dangers of meddling with forces beyond our understanding.

The police investigation that followed was unable to explain the strange circumstances surrounding the deaths. The only clue was a mysterious hieroglyphic symbol found at the scene, which seemed to match the symbols on the mummy's sarcophagus.

As the news of the cursed mummy spread, a wealthy collector named Marcus became obsessed with acquiring the mummy for his private collection. He was warned by the authorities and the archaeological community, but he was too enthralled by the promise of power and immortality.

Marcus finally managed to obtain the mummy, and he proudly displayed it in his mansion. But soon, strange things began to happen. Objects moved on their own, and ghostly apparitions appeared in the hallways.

One night, Marcus heard a faint whispering in his ear, "You should not have disturbed my rest." He turned to see the mummy standing before him, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light.

As Marcus tried to flee, the mummy began to unravel its bandages, revealing its rotting flesh beneath. The stench was unbearable, and Marcus felt his sanity slipping away.

The next morning, the police found Marcus's mansion in disarray, the mummy gone, and Marcus catatonic in his bed. He never spoke again, haunted by the horrors he experienced that night.

The team leader, Dr. Samantha Taylor, felt an eerie connection to the mummy, as if it was calling to her. She reached out to touch its wrappings, and as she did, the mummy's eyes flashed with life.

Samantha was consumed by a vision of ancient Egypt, of Akhentaten's reign and his pact with the devil. She saw the pharaoh's downfall, his transformation into a creature of the night, and his eternal curse.

As the vision faded, Samantha realized that the mummy was not just a relic of the past but a harbinger of doom. She tried to warn her team, but it was too late.

The mummy began to unwrap its bandages, revealing its rotting flesh beneath. The team tried to flee, but the temple doors were sealed, trapping them inside.

One by one, the team members fell to the mummy's curse, until only Samantha was left. She faced the mummy, her heart pounding in her chest.

"You should not have disturbed my rest," the mummy hissed, its voice like the rustling of dry linen.

Samantha tried to scream, but her voice was silenced by some unseen force. The mummy reached out and wrapped its bandages around her, pulling her into an eternal embrace.

The next morning, the authorities found the temple in ruins, the team gone, and Samantha's camera lying on the ground, its footage showing only an eerie, glowing light.

The cursed mummy of Akhentaten was never found, but the legend lived on, a cautionary tale about the dangers of meddling with forces beyond our understanding.
